I am a researcher in Human-Computer Interaction and an engineer in digital media. My multidisciplinary background combines a deep understanding of interactive system design, technical competencies in digital technologies, and project management expertise.
I work to design interactive systems that are usable, useful and meaningful to users and communities. I have worked in the area of art, culture and digital health: from a web platform that publishes data about people’s experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, to interfaces for museums’ digital collections; from a mobile application for people with Asperger’s syndrome, to interactive musical instruments.
I hold a PhD in Media and Arts Technology from Queen Mary University of London, and a MSc in Media and Communication Engineering from Polytechnic of Turin.
